We wanted to start something different. We were created by God to reveal His Heart during this singular moment in all of recorded time... After seeing the "unseen" of this world, we knew we needed to be agents of change, willing workers for God and give a hand up. Find out more below, and join us as God leads you.
When we first came to Cambodia and met Jonny Hamill of Care for Cambodia, we saw his passion and commitment for the people of Cambodia. He was meeting a need that was so great and so crucial. Children in the rural areas of Cambodia were being left behind. Fathers were abandoning their families, and parents were trafficking their children. He not only raised up a staff to care for, educate, and protect these children, but also developed programs to keep and encourage families to stay together. We love this type of story. Jonny says, "13 years ago when I first came to Cambodia I took these photos. See the girl in the middle (black and white top, red skirt)? Full of energy, disruptive but fun. Fast forward 13 years, . . .and she is now a youth teacher in our Sensok project. Still full of energy, disruptive and fun. But we love her. We love because we have been loved. We serve because we have been served."
Jonny is now married to a Cambodian woman with their first child. He has adopted 2 other Cambodian children when they were abandoned by their parents. We are so proud to partner with Jonny in his continued life work in Cambodia.
Nicole Mason Fitzpatrick, of the Village Global, is the real deal and pint sized unstoppable force in Mexico. The need has become so great they have added a second children's home in another part of the country. Thanks to a great team they have gained favor with the Mexcian government, but the need is great. The average age rescued is 3-10. Meaning they've been trafficked before they were rescued. The mission of this children's home in Mexico is to rescue and raise trafficked and abused children in a loving, Christian home. Through the generous support of mission partners:
We stand with Ukraine. We Pray for Ukraine. We send the support we can to provide food and water for the children in orphanages that cannot be moved. To those who are surviving while grieving the loss of their home, family members, friends, and peace; You are not alone, you are not going to be overlooked and you WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN. #TheUnseen1018 This is not the end, God sees you and He knows your name. Each and every child deserves to know that their name matters, their story matters and most of all that hope is not lost. (This picture was provided with permission to share as not only a reminder to pray but also a reminder to give as this war is still wreaking havoc on so many lives.)
We work with and support the Vanopaishe foundation in Zimbabwe. They visit and advocate for families with disabled children because disabled children are considered cursed in most third-world countries. One of these children is Sean, who is pictured above. When we first heard about Sean we knew we had to do something. If he were living in the States, he would have a custom wheelchair, swallow study, physical, occupational and speech therapy and regular doctor visits. Because of a geographical border, he has had none of those things. We exist to help those in need, like Sean. Pastors Agatha and Joseph tirelessly travel to check on him and advocate for his good. Sean now has a wheelchair and Ensure thanks to the foundation and generous supporters.
The Vanopaishe Foundation also has a preschool program where they provide quality education and nutritious meals to the children in the remote farming areas. The preschool is so important because otherwise the children are left alone in the villages and vulnerable to being trafficked and sexually abused. At the preschool, the children are safe and fed. They are teaching others how to start preschool programs as well.
We have two ministry partners in Chin and Shan State of Myanmar. They are fearless for the Lord. It is too great a risk to show pictures but they faithfully serve Him in the most difficult of circumstances.
One ministry partner is married and he and his wife minister to the surrounding villages and they run a Bible school, which is hard. He also travels to visit the persecuted Christians in his country.
Our other ministry partner is a single woman who only speaks 9 of the 21 languages in her state fluently. I say only because she is a humble servant of the Most High God. She is unafraid and at great cost to herself she follows the Lord in a male dominated country and she serves Him anyway and fights against injustice for children and women.
We are proud to know them and to serve them where we can.
Change lives today by supporting the Unseen 10:18 missions.
The Unseen 10:18 provides resources for business classes, betrayal trauma training, facilitate art classes and teach boundaries for victims of child trafficking. We want to provide a hand up so they can have a say in their future and provide resources for those who can't speak for themselves. Reaching the least of these in Cambodia, Mexico, Myanmar, Ukraine and Zimbabwe, our ministry partners affect 2,100 children per year.
We are 100% volunteer driven. When you give to The Unseen 1018 100% of your donation is sent. We accept Visa, Mastercard and personal checks made payable to The Unseen 1018. Give today and do good.
The Unseen 10:18 was started to meet a need. We are a different type of 501c3 because we promote a hand up rather than a hand out. We send money, so local Gospel workers can buy what they need in their own country and promote a thriving economy.
